STELLA HOPKINS

Stella has been working in the industry for 26 years. She began creating with metal while earning her BFA at Cornish College of the Arts. To improve the integrity of her sculptures, she completed a certificate program in welding technology.  She soon realized these combined skills were valuable for work such as produced by DMA. Stella is appreciated for her artistic eye, her honed attention to detail, and her ability to implement creative solutions. She most enjoys installing finished work as she can see the work in its final environment, and because she often must be creative in the face of the challenges caused by unforeseen site issues.
